Please join us in Santa Fe and Las Vegas, NM for the eighth annual Fred Harvey History Weekend, celebrating the living history of Fred Harvey, the Harvey Girls, Mary Colter, the ATSF railroad and their way of allowing us to explore the cultural legacies of the Great Southwest.

There will be talks from 1-5 PM on Friday (11/2) and Saturday (11/3) at the New Mexico History Museum in Santa Fe. And presentations on Sunday 11/4 at the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas, NM–along with a massive model train display. All talks are free and open to the public.

On Saturday night, we’ll have the Second Annual Fred Harvey Foodie Dinner at La Fonda Hotel, for which stop Santa Fe chefs will recreate (or reinvent) classic dishes originally created for Fred Harvey trackside restaurants and hotels, and ATSF dining cars. The dinner is a benefit for the New Mexico History Museum, to support its Southwest History programming (like this weekend.)

Tickets for the dinner are $150 and going fast.
