Item posted on the site of KC alt-weekly The Pitch, by always-well-informed Charles Ferruzza, sounds like that space might no longer be an eatery. A shame–it has been really well-preserved for all these years (as has Ford Harvey’s old office on the second floor)

  1. Glad I was able to eat there a couple years ago. A neat –and rare– experience, eating in a real Fred Harvey location. Had to get one of their nice mugs as a souvenier.

    What is Ford Harvey’s office being used for now? Do you have a picture you can post?

  2. Ford Harvey’s corner office is preserved as a conference room, for an otherwise modern firm that rents the space. I’ll post a photo in a separate posting, because this program doesn’t allow photos in comments
